If I ruled the world every child would be loved, nurtured and encouraged to fulfill his/her potential. Schools would be joyful places where art, music, dance and play would be as important as math and vocabulary. Children’s minds would not be stifled by forced competition; each child would be encouraged at his/her own pace. Which means we would need lots of teachers. Teaching would be the most important profession and the money currently being spent to destroy the globe and everything in it would be used to build a new world based on truth and compassion.

The first plan of action would be to set up an international council to research and investigate the similarities within the major world religions that draw the human race together. A model would follow where religious communities around the world would delegate members to serve as contributors in a global focus group. The intellectual and spiritual products of the global council would serve as light for a new institution of art, science and culture.

Since our government already runs itself and tries to pass legislation like they're actors pitching movie deals and ad campaigns, why not remove the smoke screen entirely! Forget voting! I will make it so all officials, including me, must audition to serve YOU! That's right; full on cattle calls! The american people are the casting directors and YOU decide who the cast and crew is and what our "American Movie" plot entails. YOU give us scenarios and we must perform!

If I ruled the world I would enact a version of the Prime Directive from Star Trek. Countries wouldn't be able to impose their will on the growth and development of other countries. Life-skills classes would be just as important as American History (don't you wished you learned how to have successful relationships, and how to manage your money while you were in school?). All over the world there would be adequate amounts of food, water, shelter, and bookstores (with good coffee--Fair Trade of course!).

In my world, war profiteers are arrested for murder. They aren’t the President and Vice-President. Hospitals aren’t run for mega profits (see Tenet hospitals) drug companies want to get the best possible medications to us so that we can live longer happier lives…. even if we can’t afford the astronomical rates they currently charge (see Pfizer pharmaceuticals). In my world nobody has to work 16 hours a day to put food on the table. In my world, people listen intently, are slow to anger, show compassion, honor their parents and children, and at the end of the day…act right.
